This is the Shadowrocket website and official user manual. These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when visiting the site, reading its documentation and following its instructions. Please read the relevant information before use. App purchases, licensing and transactions are also subject to the applicable terms on the App Store page and during checkout.
1. Scope and nature of the content
This site provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, configuring it and troubleshooting issues. These terms apply to the site and its text, code examples and instructions. They do not replace the app’s license agreement or the App Store’s transaction rules.
The manual covers common usage scenarios. Menu locations may change depending on the device, operating system and app updates. Check the screens on your device as you follow the instructions. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements. Examples explain configuration methods and do not guarantee results in any particular network environment.
2. Legal use and user responsibilities
When using Shadowrocket or material on this site, comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are, applicable network rules and the terms of any services you use. Do not use the app or documentation for unlawful purposes, access another person’s system without permission, disrupt network operations, or violate anyone’s privacy or other legal rights.
The instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Make sure you are authorized to use those resources, and keep your account details, subscription links and other sensitive configuration information secure. Back up important data before changing rules, replacing configurations or deleting records. When troubleshooting, do not share a complete configuration that contains access credentials.
3. App purchases and service limits
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app distributed on Apple platforms, primarily for iPhone and iPad. It is available exclusively through the App Store. A one-time client purchase does not include a network service plan. The purchase grants the right to use the client within the scope of its applicable license; it does not include network access or external services. This site does not provide, sell or recommend nodes or subscription services. Check the App Store page and applicable transaction terms for pricing, purchase eligibility, refund conditions and how to restore a purchase.
4. Availability and liability
The app is sold on the App Store. This site’s documentation cannot guarantee the continued availability of App Store transactions, app features or external network services, or that every configuration will suit every environment. Connection results may depend on device settings, network conditions and the status of services you use.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for interruptions in access, connection failures, lost configurations, data loss or indirect losses resulting from following the documentation. Where recovery is possible, change settings one at a time. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects consumer rights protected by law.
5. Intellectual property and use of materials
The Shadowrocket trademark, official app icon and related rights in the app belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. This site displays the name and icon to identify the product and provide official instructions; doing so does not transfer any rights in the trademark, software or other intellectual property to visitors.
Original documentation and editorial arrangement on this site are protected by law. Individuals may consult and save necessary material for personal learning and configuration. Reproduction, republication or commercial use beyond what the law permits requires prior permission from the relevant rights holder. When quoting material, credit its source, do not misrepresent its meaning, and do not present examples as service guarantees.
6. Changes to these terms and help with questions
